I could be wrong, but my impression is that there are no 5CD books ever written without a bug (joker). Its odd that there is recently some interest online, its essentially a dead game in the US.

It's not a book but Michael Wiesenberg wrote a series of very good articles on online 5cd.

Zadeh's book also covers lowball and stud. It's one of my favorites and helped me with 5-stud a lot.

SS1 has a 5 draw card chapter written by Mike Caro. Its a while since I read it, but I think it mainly covers 5 card draw w. joker (gardena style) even though he also talks about differences that applies to 5CD without joker.
That chapter is very well written, and Im sure you'll learn a lot from it if you play 5CD, even if you only play without joker.

2+2 should really gather a team of authors together and write a book on how to play lowball, five card draw, triple draw, and razz. They've written some stuff in the past but a 400 page book with about 100 pages dedicated to each game with theory and hand examples would be purchased by a ton of the forum readers, at least. I think it would do okay; obviously not in the same way a NL hold'em book would do but still get by.

I started writing a book with a similar format months ago (Badugi, triple draw, and other modern low games), I admit its in limbo and may never get finished because I have taken on too many projects at the same time - I didnt get past the first 35 pages!

I don't think 2+2 would be interested in it unfortunately, this topic won't make back the investment required in publishing the book because there are not enough people left in the world who care about draw games to turn a profit.

Razz seems to be gaining popularity again though....perhaps because its a component of HORSE? Probably why it earned a chapter in the Full Tilt book.
