Default Who fold this river reraise? Comments on my play.

15/30 game at CP. Decent game. I am utg1, 3 bet the live straddle with 66. two cold callers. sb 4 bets. he is an old Asian guy (john) who plays like an old white guy.

folk is 556 with two diamonds. sb bets, bb calls. I just call. so do the other two.

turn is 2 hearts. sb bets. big blind calls. I raise. fold fold. sb thinks for a while looks at his cards then calls. bb folds.

river is Jd. sb bets. I raise. he reraise. I ?

I would be more apt to 4 bet than fold but calling is clearly correct here. He could easily have AKdd.

Only the nitty oldness keeps me from four-towning here.

Call > Raise >>>>>>> Fold but OP's phrasing suggests we're gonna hear a sad story about 55 or JJ very soon.

There are some confusing situations here. Does the player described here 4 bet with JJ here. I would say that most old white guys don't but then again maybe he lets a little bit of his Asianess come out once in a while. If he had a big flush draw would he have delayed his call on the turn? Maybe he was just acting. Old white guys probably don't threebet a paired board with a flush either.

I would just call.

There will be no folding. Also, if this is Johnnie your read is a bit off. He is tight, but he is no nit. I am with the others who think it is closer to a raise than a fold, but I think folding to a 5 bet would be terrible meta-wise so I would just call down.

I understand, but thats what people assume when you say he plays like an old white guy. He is actually a pretty decent self-taught player and is appropriately aggressive in most instances. I think this is really read dependent and I have not played with him in some time, so I would probably call down. Im not sure anyone can really help you here unless they have played with him recently. A fold is out of the question I think.
