OP does the right thing.
Can't believe everyone else thinking it's OK to STEAL (because it's party poker), and calling OP an idiot for not doing it. No good will come from money gained in this manner...

If there was a theoretical way for him to profit, he should be given something for his honesty. If they have really denied him the bonus as well, that's quite poor. On the other hand, if he couldn't even sit at a table with the money, I suppose it's not that big a deal.
