Buying new monitor, need help
Ok, I read the monitor FAQ and it was very helpful. Just a couple of things I was wondering about.
I'm moving up from a 19" CRT. When I shrunk windows on Stars sometimes the numbers for bet amounts or the pot would get a little illegible (and some numbers looked like others if I wasn't careful). I understand that I ideally would want a 24" monitor, which has the resolution needed to stack Stars windows without resizing them. However, I'm on a budget that will allow for a 22" widescreen LCD. I can't afford 24". I take it that since 22" LCDs only have a 1680 x 1050 resolution, I have to reduce the Stars windows a little. My question is, are there any problems with reading the numbers then? Or anything I should know? |

Re: Buying new monitor, need help
Are you just trying to 4-table or do something else? If the former, all you need is a 20" LCD which should run about $300-400. I could be wrong but I don't think the widescreen monitors (other than the 30") support 4-tabling w/o resizing.

The 24" widescreen monitors sold by dell (and the 26" monitor too, incidentally) including models 2405 and 2407 have a resolution of 1920x1200. I've got two of them and they are awesome. |
