You are very beat here and almost always drawing to 3 outs at best. 4-betting and calling the 3-bet are both fine, but I'd lean towards calling in this situation.

I agree,
calling seems better then 4betting here.

anyways, I'm pretty sure you can't fold to the shove now.

why do u all insist on 4-bet bluffing pre with a high equity hand?

if you were not bluffing, call

I'm pretty sure I'd rather whip out a lighter and burn a c-note than call this shove, because at least then I'd have the satisfaction of feeling like a straight up baller

edit: I take this back if he'll shove AK here, I just figured his range is like AA/KK here always.

Ok you're getting 1.85-1 so you need around 35% equity to call, if he shoves QQ+, AKo, AKs you are around 39% equity against that range, so a call is right. Take out the AKo and you are at 33% equity, and it just gets worse from there.

Hopefully this math is right.

though burning a cnote would be pretty baller,

I'm pretty sure the call is correct.

your math looks fine.
and I'm not sure what else you can take out from that range, as it is already pretty narrow, so I can't see this being a mistake to call.

He raises to $14.50 on the 3bet and you only pop it to $36? Your playing a difficult hand OOP. I agree with a lot of people that say to just call his 3bet. If you do 4bet, I'd raise it up to $45. Of course, this makes your call much easier. We also don't know your image right now...Any history with you two? You are sitting two seats to his left.

$36 as a 4-bet looks fine. how in the hell is being in pos or oop gonna matter here. ure only play 1 more street psotflop, if it gets there.

people gotta realise position power is very much reduced in 3-bet pots for less than around 180bbs

Hero is UTG, Villain is SB. Hero has position after the hand right?

I would tend to call the 3-bet instead of 4-betting it. Force him to play a pot OOP when you still have a lot of money behind. Unless he is loose with his 4-betting I think you have to give him credit for a big hand.
