Re: New FAQ is up
I just had the idea to put link at the end of each section to "top", so you don't have to scroll up. Good idea wiggs.

Re: New FAQ is up
Sparta,
If I change [ QUOTE ] $3.40s - 18% $6s - 15% $16s - 13% $27s - 11% $60s - 10% $114s - 8% $225s - 6% $335s+ - 5% [/ QUOTE ] to [ QUOTE ] $3.40s - 18% $6s - 16% $16s - 14% $27s - 12% $60s - 10% $114s - 8% $225s - 6% $335s+ - 4% [/ QUOTE ] it's a little more consistent. It's sort of lame bc I just start with 18% and take 2 off for each level jump, but I think these numbers would be about as good as any. I mean we can't get it exact, but I think these figures are 'very good' for the given stakes. |

Re: New FAQ is up
Wiggs,
I like those changes more. Intuitively, I think that makes more sense. I don't know if it's accurate, but I like it more |

Re: New FAQ is up
Looks good. Maybe you could add Microbet's explanation of ICM or maybe Tony Guerrera's version. The equation stuff isn't that clear to someone trying to understand ICM.
And http://www.learnhowtoplaypokerfree.c...rt/convert.cgi converts party hands good, FTR not so much. |

Re: New FAQ is up
A new item for possible inclusion in the FAQ (since it obviously is a frequently asked question)
"I think people might be colluding at my table. What should I do?" Report them! The vast majority of people who appear to be colluding are people who are playing badly. In most cases, they are not cheating, but merely unfamiliar with how to play correctly. There are four different possibilities: 1) They are colluding, and you report them: The poker site will investigate and analyse their play, probably realise that they are breaking the rules, and punish them. This is good, as there will be two less cheaters in circulation. 2) They are not colluding, and you report them: The poker site will investigate and analyse their play, probably realise that they are not breaking the rules, and not punish them. This is good as it puts your mind at ease. 3) They are not colluding, and you do not report them: Nothing happens. This is bad, as you keep worrying about this. 4) They are colluding, and you do not report them: Nothing happens. This is bad, as they keep cheating and taking your money. |
