Default average players biggest weakness?

what is it that stops a good but not great player from moving up through the ranks? What is your opinions? Fundamentally what is the biggest leak?

Completely agree, although EGO is far from the only reason for this. Studies show that ignorance really is bliss.

The most costly leaks are not intuitively obvious.

Tiny leaks that appear with high frequency are more ruinous than large leaks that rarely happen.

Recognizing this truism will help you search for leaks that can quickly make a difference in your game.

For an online player, not using Poker Tracker to seek out your leaks is a costly mistake.

@Oberonn: Is somewhere explained how the "perfect" game looks like in pokertracker? I mean, how do you know that a "Vol. Put $ in Pot" of 32% is ok or not?

Consequently not willing to learn from your mistakes is the main reason I think people don't improve.

Being unaware of other peoples tendencies, and how others perceive them and not using that information to it's fullest extent.

Playing without rakeback and/or a good benefit scheme.
