Henry Rollins Absolutely the 2 most boring concerts Ive ever been to, including Uriah Heep/Zebra. Edit: Billy Joel opening for Black Oak Arkansas would have been close, but Ruby Starr saved the day.

[/ QUOTE ] One of the worst mistmatches of all time...a prematurely balding boring pop singer, solo on piano, singing a song imitating John Wayne for 5 minutes, and a kick-ass party band. It was one of if not the first concert in a major venue out of the LI club circuit for BJ and must have been a favor to someone! Jim "Dandy" Mangrum had a great voice, and they didnt have the pretetentiousness of Skynyrd. Best live Southern Rock band of all time, even if JDM did turn into a Clinton fund raiser.
