What about this river bet?

[/ QUOTE ]

lol @ monkeys trying to valuebet w/ less than top pair

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah, you're right, he played it great...

[/ QUOTE ]

based on your comment about the original river bet i dont think your thoughts on his play are relevant at all. I would not call the river raise usually but there are def. situations where it can be ok.

Regarding the very big, live game, full table NLH games

0 atm

easily 10-15 if they'd adjust (LAG not so good)

God if I weren't so lazy I would read all of inyourace and plo8facekilla's posts and point out all the logical fallacies.

you don't have proof, that's why you didn't do it.

PA is your idol and he said exactly what you didn't want him to say.

Just accept that and move on

I don't get why the answer is 0. Online players don't get enough respect

Maybe Patrik was thinking of this hand vs Sbrugby when he answered (Sorry about format and partial info)
London Cash Game (Live) (8-9 Handed) (Deep, both bought in for 500k)
I believe there was a check call from Patrik on 6-5h-Q no flush draw
Turn Kh, Patrik Check calls 20k from Sbrugby
River 4 (no heart) board reads 6 5 Q K 4 no flush
Patrik checks, Sbrugby Bets 40k(???) Patrik Check raises to 150k Sbrugby Calls (???)
What about this river bet? Does he think Antonius is some loose calling station? And then calls?

from here, should be on tv or youtube in near future
http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/poker-blog/..._the_titans.php

Sbrugby also played too aggressively on high stakes poker (8 handed, deep) and seemed to lose at least 100k on mostly bad semi bluffs into strong hands
I realize it's unfair to single him out but he's really the only one who's played significantly on these shows, with this exact criteria.

[/ QUOTE ]So you don't think Patrik ever makes loose calls, especially against Aba? Think your read on him is a little off.

If you want to know what both Patrik and Brian were thinking in this hand then read their blogs, they've both talked about it.

was only commenting on it being 9 handed, where hand values go down, and it seems more like a heads-up hand, where their history was drawn from. Couldnt find Brian's blog on it, but Patrik did say he's never played like this with set, which explains Brian's play somewhat.(I just think Patrik folds worse here, Heads-up probably not)
Not sure either of these 2 care about 9 handed since they are some of the best shorthanded, which requires more skill anyways.
BTW D.S should have asked both Kenny and Patrik if they were in this immortal top 20 list of 9 handers.
