Default NL10 - Sandwiched here, raise for position?

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $6.05
BB: $12.70
<font color="black">Hero (UTG): $13.30</font>
CO: $5.60
BTN: $3.85

<font color="black">Preflop:</font> Hero is dealt 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 Players)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $0.40</font>, CO calls $0.40, BTN folds, SB calls $0.35, BB folds

<font color="black">Flop:</font> ($1.30) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
<font color="red">SB bets $0.10</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $0.50</font>, CO calls $0.50, SB calls $0.40

<font color="black">Turn:</font> ($2.80) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO checks

<font color="black">River:</font> ($2.80) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks, CO checks

On the flop i found that bet REAL weird so i decided to reraise and let it go on any action or if dont get position here. Bad play? Or better, is it a good play if my raise wasnt so weak?

Field is too big to raise into (unless its three 40/5.0.5), plus your raise is way too small.

It would be hard to fold the flop for $0.10 since you have the 8d.

Yeah, turn/river checks are standard. You won't be able to make any better hand fold on the turn/river, and it's rare that you'll get value out of Ax with no diamond.
