I actually found Rangel's remarks refreshing. I have no idea if he is sincere of whatever but he did the right thing and stood behind a US President. Good job Charlie Rangel!

QFT. I think Charlie Rangel although as partisan as they come, is worthy of respect. He is a Korean war vet and I love the way he tawks.

As any politics regular could imagine, Charlie Rangel and I are pretty far apart on the political spectrum. BUT, I do appreciate his defense of President Bush and I always give Rangel a little wiggle room in my mind because the guy has a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. That doesnt mean much to some of you here but it means a hell of a lot to me. I would be honored to shake Charlie Rangel's hand any day of the week.

I would shake his hand as well...in the original purpose of handshaking..to ensure no weapons.
