I don't think borderline is the right word for preflop. If you are going to play, I wouldn't recommend limping though.

I also don't know why would assume BB is leading the flop as a bluff. Since he's acting first, I'd figure he's the least likely to bluff, although I agree with the raise.

I think I'd also prefer betting the turn as well and then showing down for free rather than checking the turn. That way, if you want one more bet going in, I'd prefer it be after only one overcard comes to your pair rather than a second.

Preflop fold>raise>call

Flop: I actually just call here. Pot is so small I want the button to make a mistake and draw to something.

Turn: I have no idea why you are giving your opponent a free card.

River: You will usually have the best hand so you should bet for value.

I would rather raise this preflop than limp first-in. If the blinds have been folding to steal attempts, this might be something you could try.

Flop raise is OK, this is a good flop for your hand and raising helps protect it and buys you a free card.

If the BB is known to call the flop with two high cards or has a history of check-raising, I would check behind. However, I feel like a bet on the turn might be able to take down the pot. I probably bet/fold the turn, but I really don't know if that is correct. Betting folds hands with two face cards and might entice something like 77-88 to fold.

As played, I think I check behind on the river. I don't see any hands that you beat calling a river bet, so there really is no point in betting. The only hands that beat you that might fold to a river bet are a middle pocket pair, but I think betting the turn might fold these hands out.

So:

I either raise or fold preflop, depends on how the table is playing.

Raise the flop.

Bet/fold the turn.

Check the river.

I think preflop since it is folded to you in the CO this should be a raise (to try and steal blinds) or a fold. I am not good enough to make this a profitable steal unless the blinds are uber tight so I would fold.

Any time you are the first in from MP2 or latter you need to raise.

Why do you assume bluff? BB got in for free it is fully possible that he hit any number of hands.

I like the raise but you need to follow it up with a turn bet since he checked to you. If he calls and checks the river then I check behind.

As played I check behind on the river. I don't see him calling with anything worse then our hand and there's not much that will fold that beats us either.

Hero shows a lot of weakness by checking the turn. Most villians are calling the river with any pair.

Yes we showed a lot of weakness on the turn cause we have a weak hand. The only worse hands I can see calling this river are 76, and 65. There is no other pair that plays that way and still calls that river. I have to have a decent read to belive this guy would call this river with just a 2 or 3 or a worse 6 honestly. A bet on the turn has the potential to fold out better hands (a stronger 6 or possiby 77, 88) and gives us a free showdown. Since we got the free showdown anyways we should take it.

after 5 folds, I wouldn't limp with that hand.. flop raise is still good, protecting your hand. Also I think there is some value in betting the river, since I don't think he would check-raise the river when you checked the turn.

If you are folding rivers with pairs every time a villian raises the flop but checks the turn you are being bluffed quite often.
