Default gaining weight...

when someone else posted about losing weight, I thought why not post this. I'm currently 6'0" 140 lbs. I'm trying to kinda gain weight, not really muscle, because I don't care enough to start going to the gym on a regular basis and be able to maintain it. So I was just wondering, how can i gain weight on my frame just by diet means?? U know, like more meat on the arms...also, what type of foods should I be eating, like proteins, meats, etc. Also, I don't have any health problems, but I'd prefer to stay away from a crazy, unhealthy diet. I tried eating chinese food, wings and sandwiches for the last 3 months, but haven't gained anything. Any ideas?? Thanks for the help guys.

ha! same here. We can only blame our good genes it don't matter how much I eat I never gain weight. Instead of seing this as bad you should see this as a gift, after all most people would want to be in your dilemma.

Oh, i realize i'm somewhat lucky because i guess a lot of people would like to be less heavy. But for a 22 year old, I sure would like to gain some weight, u know?? I figure once I gain it, I won't really have to worry about gaining too much since i think i have some freak metabolic rate. But still, a little extra weight wouldn't hurt...

Suigin,

Look up the Massive Eating articles by John Berardi on t-nation.com. Should be easy enough to google. Time for you to start taking responsibility for your weak 6' 140 lbs. frame instead of blaming your genetics.

If you don't go to the gym and gain weight, it's going to go everywhere you don't want it, i.e. your belly and your love handles. You can't just start eating more and expect it to fill out your frame and give you nice biceps.
