Default Is there a way I could have improved the way I played this hand?

Vilain's stats are 38/2.5/1.11.

Did I play this fine or there's a way I could have played it better?

I make it $3 pf. and I bet the turn myself, if hes gonna float me with any K here with no draw good for him. Im stacking off.

yeah ... dont check the turn ... if you get raised after double barreling then you can let it go

$13-14 IMO. If you raise to $3 pf, the pot is $8.50 on the flop, you bet $6, and then shove the turn for just under a PSB.

3$ PF is 6x his bet..isn't it too big? Aren't we supposed to raise like 4x.

if he made a real raise to say $1 then yeah just make it like $3.5 pf. But I like to punish these minraisers especially with premium hands bc they call so much and we're OOP. I want to build a pot and most of these minraisers suck so we value raise more. Also, there was a cold caller in between so you need to adjust your raise size for that, ie the pot is bigger than normal when it gets to you the first time.

This is the best way IMO. I dont see why you called the turn if your not calling a river bet. He bets any jack on the turn and will continue firing on the river.

If your raised when the king hits, it makes an easy fold. But checking the turn is really weak and gives him a chance to draw for free/bluff you off your hand.
