Best Radiohead album?
I know a lot of people would say OK computer is their best album, but I cannot stress how wonderful the Bends album is. It's so airy and flows so so well. Also, I believe 2:26 of (nice dream) is one of the finest moments in music history.

Also, I would like to point out I suck at making polls and thought it would start immediately.

Re: Best Radiohead album?
i am torn between Kid A and Hail to the Thief.
but i think those 2 are clearly a step up from the other records....not even very close IMO. Hail to the Thief is more consistent overall but you can't [censored] with songs like "Everything in its Right Place" and "How to Disappear Completely." those are probably the two best radiohead songs ever. jon |

Re: Best Radiohead album?
The two albums are completely different and both wonderful. It marks a huge turning point for the band creatively and asking me to choose which one i like better... well its like asking a mother to choose which child she loves more (though im 95% sure my mother loves my brother more than me but anyway).
I can still remember the spring/summer that OK came out and it was a magical one for me so on the sake of pure sentimentality (and getting to see RH one more time before they became a huge act) ill choose it. |

OK and the Bends are when they still crafted pop songs that had a lot of interesting edges. I like strange and avante garde music and when RH started trying to be too kraftworky it didnt feel as original. I did like Thom Yorkes solo album though... |

Re: Best Radiohead album?
ok computer is a fantastic, groundbreaking album. critically speaking it probably has to be the 'best.' but i find that i listen to kid A and hail to the thief a lot more these days, and prefer them in some ways.
