Did I overdo the turn here
Villian is relatively new to the table. Hasnt been involved much. Did I spew the turn here by 3 betting after the C/r?

Re: Did I overdo the turn here
no, postflop is fine, and i'd raise the river too. your hand is very well disguised, looks like an overpair more than a set. i wouldn't raise it preflop personally. not exactly sure what villain has so if he 3bet the river i'd just call.

I think you're 3-bet is fine. You're only losing to QQ or 66 here. Queens are not very likely due to his preflop play. He could be overplaying an overpair or AQ, so I think the 3-bet is fine. I probably just call the river too. |

Don't raise preflop. Rest looks fine.

Re: Did I overdo the turn here
Is 53s a possible hand? You can put some people on exactly 22 but there certainly are people who you would want to slow down against. This looks like 53 to me but if you can eliminate that hand then you have to assume that you are good here.

Re: Did I overdo the turn here
I prefer to limp a pair of 4s in this spot, but your post flop play seems fine. 66 and 35 are pretty much the only hands to worry about, and villain can raise the turn with a lot of hands you beat. Raising the river after an unknown caps the turn seems like spew though.

Re: Did I overdo the turn here
FWIW, cut the action after villian c/r's the Turn. It will illicit less biased responses.
PF: Don't raise unless you have a read that UTG+1 is weak, and even then don't raise because you're MP2. F: Fine. T: No. I don't think 3-betting the c/r is spew. Villain does this w/ Q6 Q4 Q2 22 66 35 Given the way he played PF and flop, which of these hands are more likely????? |

Unless I am missing something, turn is good and river raise is in order. Maybe UTG+1 is one of those wacky guys who doesn't like to raise preflop from early position, and he's got QQ. But in that case he'd likely play AA and KK in just the same way, there's no reason to suspect he has top set. Something like A3 hearts is consistent with his flop and river bets, but not his turn c/r. I think 22 or weirdly played AA or KK are his most likely holdings. |

Re: Did I overdo the turn here
I rose PF because this table was tight and raising was definetly eliminating players. The table was straightforward and I felt I could get away pretty easily. That and I had been very tight up until this point as well
