london
are there any londoners or recent visitors to london who can help me by providing as much info as possible about the poker scene there? i am particularly interested in where to find middle/upper limit holdem games. how often they are spead. and the skill level of the games. also any info about when any major tourny events effect cash games and any websites or articles related to my question would be greatly appreciated. thankyou

It will be difficult to find limit holdem games in London. Games found are usually pot or no limit Holdem.( [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] )
You could try asking in the forums of the Hendon mob website which also has a list of venues and tournaments in london. you could also try the Gutshot Website. It's a well known cardroom in london with a forum that could probably let you know of any suitable games. you might be able to try the loose cannon club, again they have a website you could probably email them to find out if they have it. hope this helps.

I'm from London but don't play live Poker. The only other place that springs to mind is the Grosvenor Casino but I don't know much about it other than they had one of the EPT events there and they have terminals for playing on Full Tilt Poker.
Edited to add that I just checked their website and they have NLHE and PLO cash games.
