you guys arent analyzing it correctly. 2-3-2 favors the weaker team to prolong the series, and is a real bad idea. anyway, the spurs are a huge favorite. id be very, very shocked if they lose. still, the caves have 3 games at home, and they're a good home team with a lot of momentum, I'd be surprised if they don't win 2 of 3 at home, making this go 6. since tim duncan is the best player on the spurs - and the finals mvp is almost ALWAYS the best player on whichever team won - he will win. In theory maybe. IIRC the home team has never won all 3 of the middle games in the finals.

Yes, I do consider a can of creamed spinach a favorite against Cleveland, but only slightly if it doesn't have home court advantage.
