Some initial thoughts:

Get rid of top margin
Round off the borders of your tables
Pay someone $80 to update the 2+2 logo, that thing just dirties up any page it's on (seriously, $80, do it, actually, someone here would probably do it for free)

my big critique is the fact that the content box is fixed width. I have huge monitor, let me stretch the window out and not just stare at lots of dark green space.

I'm on a 6 year old laptop with ie. I mean the thin blue/grays spaces above the top banner. If you're going to have a banner at the top of the page make it flush with the top (or at least make it rounded so it looks like it should be more isolated).

For stuff like this I think fixed width design looks quite a bit better. Lots of popular sites agree (and of course lots agree with you too).

Don't misspell "bettor." Do you have someone editing these articles?

What do you mean by updating the logo?

are you suggesting a new logo entirely, on books and everything?

Wouldn't "bettor" be the proper way to spell "the person who bet"?

edit: Oh nevermind you agree. I saw it spelled bettor in the article too, but now I also noticed better being used in the same context.
