tptk vs donk
Villain is a donk, about 50/13/1.3 over 80 hands
I didn't raise flop because I thought pfr might make a move after the weak bet and the weak call, hes a 2p2er aggressive type (in retrospect, not a great plan because he would unlikely try to bluff the donk). Re: tptk vs donk
I like a 3 bet to $60 pf, hand plays itself after that.

Re: tptk vs donk
you played every street pretty bad imo.
preflop i squeeze it every time. seeing as you just called i definately raise the donk bet on the flop to about 65 or so to define your hand and get rid of MP and get it heads up. if CO flat calls your flop raise you can check behind on the turn for some pot control or bet for value if you feel he is a complete tool and will pay you off with Qx. i'd probably check behind on the turn if he flat calls. there's no real draws out there and the only hand you could be worried about is 44 or 33. if he 3bets your raise on the flop then you have a decision to make and reads etc come into play. as played though, i think i pitch it when he min3bets turn and wait for a better spot than TPTK. against a player like that you're gonna stack him eventually anyway. flop a set later, stack-a-donk. easy. my guess is he has 44 or Q6. |
