I live in London, my stepfather cam very close to being blown up in 7/7, and we can joke about it. If most of you americans had even the slightest awareness of the misery that lies just beyond and hell, even within your own borders, you would realise that human tragedy far beyong the scale of 9/11 happens EVERY SINGLE DAY, ALL THE TIME to people you don't give a [censored] about and have never even heard of simply because they don't speak the same language, have the same customs, live in the same country or believe in the same god as you do. (Edit: Or are Afro-American) If you can't laugh at human misery, then you have to cry. you think you can censor the world into something that it's not and never will be? Edit: This is EXACTLY the same mentality that allows Christian fundamentalists to harp on [censored] Fox News about a children's book about a couple of gay penguins. DO these people have any idea at all of the kind of world that they are living in? Of what it means to live in Lesotho, or Congo or any these places? or to be poor, elderly and alone (anywhere)?
