Haji, that is completely irrelevent. Or rather, that is the gamblers view, not the players view. The theory discussed in the OP evades any sensible BR management techniques.

Regarding the gambling view, the model player would attempt to disregard all luck history when it comes to making a decision on a hand. Ofcourse you recall the players actions, but when it comes to comes to luck, you can never know when good luck will come back around.

The correct strategy is to play Blackjack until you get your money back.

Your all wrong.

The correct strategy is to wait until you are at 1/37 of your bankroll and then put the rest on 1 roulette number.

Default Haji is this sarcasm?

hard to tell on a chat board. If it isn't I'll be the nit and talk about the law of averages.

If you toss a fiar coin and it hits heads 99 times in a row, what are the chances it will hit heads on flip 100?

No, I figure after 99 heads, the coin is rigged, so the chances of it coming up heads a 100th time are about 100%

If you lose 10+ buy-ins, then move down a level until you build up your skills + bankroll to take another shot later.

While every poker hand is largely a factor of luck, win-rates over the course of a year are mostly about skill. So, play at a limit where your bankroll can sustain downswings long enough for your skill to make up for bad luck.

On the other hand, not every good player loses at a higher level because he is unlucky. It is also possible that he needs more practice before being successful at the higher limit.

So, if I lost 10 buy-ins, I'd assume it's probably a skill deficiency and move down a limit to win it back before taking another shot once my BR is back to where it was the last time I took a shot at the higer limit.

No, its 9900%. I mean, after one head, its 100% to land on tails the next time(since its 50/50 and you already used up your heads). So you multiply by 99, and voila.
