Default Top two

Villain is a 24/4/2 over a small sample. Likes to call preflop obv. Hero is busy abusing some other fish who refuses to stack off for the last 200 hands or so, but nothing crazy postflop.

SB ($49.50)
BB ($54.28)

Preflop: Hero is on the Button with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Wow what a confusing hand, when they do that it usually means something good on the flop, if this is a worse 2 pair, a set, or hes now hit his flush I have no idea.

i think this is baluga isnt it?

we are getting 3.3:1 to fill up, but we are 9:1 dog. We would get his whole stack in if we hit. So we invest 15$ to win 50$ + 30$. 15:80 or 5.3:1 implied odds.

There is a small chance that he's bluffing. I think we can fold here.

If this isn't A2-A5 (and A3 and A5 might not even checkraise), this sure as hell looks like a flush. I mean, you'd think even KxQs would be at least somewhat deterred from checkraising the turn given that the third spade that fell was an ace and you bet into an AKxx board anyway.

I don't know if I'd manage to do this at the table, but I think the play is to fold.

Not sure if i personaly would of been able to, but i think the right play is to fold here. with him limp/calling pre flop like that UTG it reeks of either a SC or small PP, making the possibility of him having a set or flush here very possible.

Hes right that it applies to one pair hands. If you had top two on a dry board some unknown did this to you then you can happily shove away. I think I fold here too fwiw. Not sure what villain could be doing this with that we beat. His stats dont look super loose so Im not sure this is a weaker two pair.

On this board there is no real difference against this particular villain. On a dry board there is a huge difference in that if you didnt pair your kicker and this happened, you have to muck.
