Default North America vs. Europe IV Call for discussion

Before I set up a poll, let's have a discussion regarding day of week, time of day, and buy-in for NAvE4.

For new people, this is a points-based team game, with all participants delaring for either NA or everywhere else. The higher you finish, the more points you earn for your team. There is a handicap factor in the case of unequal numbers of players. Prize payout is the regular Stars payout schedule.

Big point to keep in mind - with the popularity of the large Sunday games on Stars, Sunday may not be a favorable day for a lot of regulars.

I have always advocated the $10+1 price point, to attract as many people as possible.

Early/Mid-afternoon has always been a popular time of day.

I believe the current score is NA-2 E-1.

ok, so is this like the challenges on tv, where they have 3 female and 3 male pros, and each get points for their gender (and the regular payout) based on how they finish?

I say you just pick a day and whoever can play plays. Never going to get the whole forum to agree. If you don't think Sunday is good, then the obvious next choice would be Saturday I assume.

North America won the first two, by a fair margin. Euro won the third one, narrowly, as I recall.

I'm too pissed off at the archives and search function to hunt the threads down.

This sounds like something I would participate in, but with school ending soon I'm planning on starting up a life. Friday and saturday are therefore bad IMO.

NA vs EU IV was last year.

FINAL TEAM POINT SCORES:

1384.6 NA Weighted score team NA
985.4 EU Weighted score team EU

NA now leads by a commanding score of 3-1.

Note: I filled in as Team NA captain as I was told you were unavailable last time codewarrior.
