where's the bet? what's the number?

i think i have to pass on principle. there is no question i am 100% square about u.s. women's soccer. i know they always win. last thing i remember is they were beating teams like norway and china(?) in tournament finals. obviously the books are going to set a line that plays on this square thinking... how can i possibly have an edge on something i know nothing about? does mia hamm still play?

Bodog has it at -333. I read in an article that they havn't lost in 37 matches over the last two years. I don't think Mia Hamm plays anymore and I couldn't tell you one player currently on the team.

The line is:
USA -333
N. Kor +800
Draw +340

Does this mean that I would lose a bet on USA if they ended up drawing? Sure looks that way to me but I don't really know how these things work.

Yes, you lose if there is a draw.

The Greek is offering USA @ -300 (although draw is only +300).

You just got lucky, that's all. Nigeria had a draw against heavy favorite Sweden yesterday, you can probably just chalk it up on rust. They have no chance in competing for the group.

* note I also have sour grapes because I had money on US *
