WSOP ME Hand: AA 50/100
My friend e-mailed me this hand and asked my opinion on it. thought it was a good hand for discussion:
50/100 blinds. I have AA. I made a raise from MP and the bb called. The flop came JT8r. Guy checked to me and I fired out 600, he checkraised me to 1800. At this point warning bells are of course going off, but I've seen him splash around a lot so I wasn't quite convinced. Also my image at this point was probably that of a tight little nit and he could've been trying to bully me. I decide to make it 4k to go. He quickly calls. The turn bricks out. He leads 3k into me. At this point I should've just mucked my hand, but I make a crying call and pray for either a miracle river or that he'll check it down, I really don't know what I was thinking here. the river brings a T and he leads 5k into me and I fold. I think calling the turn and folding the river is REALLY bad, but is checking the flop an option? |

Re: WSOP ME Hand: AA 50/100
This belongs in BBV, seriously.
I mean no way you can check the flop, you have to get value, and you certainly can't give free cards. When he check/raises that's kinda scary, and I like your friend's 3bet. I think the turn is a push, it's kinda hard to tell b/c stack sizes aren't given. This hand is just all around weird, I mean you have AA heads up, you're gonna need more than this to fold it. |

I wouldn't 3-bet the flop.

Re: WSOP ME Hand: AA 50/100
Your friend is being results oriented. Checking this flop is terrible.
Live, I'm gonna look for any kind of tell when the guy puts in the checkraise. I don't know what I do here, but I'm not particularly excited about getting my stack in 200bb deep. (I assume 20K effective stacks.) |

Re: WSOP ME Hand: AA 50/100
the 3 bet folds everything that you beat and keeps in everything you are behind. this is a case of going for information rather than value. the funny thing is once he got the info he chose not to use it, once villan calls the flop it should be over
this seems to be a case of a fish who couldn't fold AA in the ME |

Re: WSOP ME Hand: AA 50/100
Call the check-raise, call the turn. I don't know how useful tells would be agaisnt a WSOP splashy random but I'm basically hoping to get to showdown with half my stack intact and not worrying too much about losing value from KK-QQ.

You are virtually always wrong with your advice and your sarcasm make you look like an ass. You are a terrible poster and this board would be better if you just went away. 5yob |
