100NL - TT makes a set, did I scare him out of the pot?
No reads.
This was what I wanted to pull off: Get his stack. This is how I wanted to do it: Look like the flop missed me, hence the weak flop reraise. Hence the overbet on the turn relative to my flop raise (but I understand it really wasn't an overbet.) And I wanted the push to look desperate. How would you have played this? And it is possible he was just drawing to something, but he did think on the river for a bit before folding. I thought he had jacks or something. Maybe top pair. Re: 100NL - TT makes a set, did I scare him out of the pot?
My money says he had 98 or 88. The flop weak lead is generally a monster or a draw in my experience. I'm fairly sure you weren't getting much more out of him.

Re: 100NL - TT makes a set, did I scare him out of the pot?
Maybe he thinks you hit trip fours and were just overbetting a low pair, or perhaps two pair on the flop and rivered a boat? No flush, no viable straight. Perhaps your bet on the turn set him up to fold on the river.

I don't think he was fake thinking on the river though.

I'm guessing its more a "wtf is this guy doing?" sort of thought.

Re: 100NL - TT makes a set, did I scare him out of the pot?
You are ahead nearly 100% of the time here. YOu may find more value by repeating your $15 bet on the river. It will be called much more often than all-in, and he may even raise you (since not upping your bet is a sign of weakness), which would be great. I think your betting on flop and turn is fine, though uncreative. Sometimes the "standard" line is definitely the best, and here I think it probably is. NH.

yeah i think you did, this is a standard value bet situation of 20 - 30 and hope a worse hand calls you

Re: 100NL - TT makes a set, did I scare him out of the pot?
i like a weak bet here, something he might call, if hes strong enough to call your all-in bet then he might be strong enough to raise a small river bet, if he has nothing hes folding either way, but he might be able to call a small bet with a marginal hand, overall i think a bet around 20-25 might work best here
