162$ Super Wednesday LHE-hand
Hello,
its the middle stage of the Super Wednesday at Party. Blinds are 400/800. I´ve been suffering for some rounds and my stack steadily shrunk. I´m about 2,5k under average. The hand: Villain is a very loose player pre- as well as postflop. Preflop is quite passive postflop rather aggressive. 60/15/1.70 it is folded to him who limps ( as expected :-) ) I´m the bb with JT. The flop is giving me an OESD and I donk, he calls and the turn is the A. I now bet again and he- after thinking pretty long- calls. the river comes and i check as does he. He shows a pair of 9´s and wins the pot. Now I wonder if I should have gone for a c/r on the turn. Since he is loose-aggressive postf. I know he does not have the Q but probably bets out if I check to him. The other question is whether i shoukd bluffbet the river in the actual line. Thoughts? Re: 162$ Super Wednesday LHE-hand
You might try posting this in the medium stakes limit forum. Also, initially post without results.
Villain's open limp with 99 from MP2 is strange, particularly for a tournament. It seems natural to raise the flop with an OESD. Then lead the turn. The donk lead on the turn when an ace hits was probably read by your aggressive opponent for what it was. At this point, I would checkraise or check/call. |

After I he calls the turn, I don't think he's folding.
