Default Deleting search history on google

Does anyone know how to delete your search history? When I type the first letter in the google search box all my previous searches beginning with that letter come up. Can I clear that?

What browser are you using? Turning off autocomplete should work.

I know a manual way to do it. Just highlight the "16 year old naked latinas" entry and hit delete.

You're going soft on him. There are a lot worse things you could have said (naked doyle brunson being one of them).

What browser? In Firefox you should be able to go to Tools > Clear Private Data and check all the boxes for a full browser clean up, including searched text.

In IE7 you can go to Tools > Internet Options > General tab >Browser History > Delete and you should be able to clean all your history from there. Another thing you can do to prevent it from happening again in IE is under the Internet Options go to > Content tab > Auto Complete > Settings and then un-check the options to use auto-complete for Web Addresses and Forms. That should help for the future.

Good luck. - Jason

You can also delete individual entries using Delete in Internet Explorer and Shift+Delete in Firefox.
