Default What is our line? 25NL

Ok there is some history between me and villain. About 10 hands ago it folded around to me in the SB and I raised with AQ, he called flop came AA8 I bet he called, turn 9 I bet 6 He raised to 17 and after thinking I shove for 4 more he called and lost with AT.

I could tell this pissed him off a little and he started to tilt a little.

With your history 4 betting looks good, if he's steaming he probably won't fold. Imo no matter what amount you raise here on the flop will probably yield the same result. From min to max he's probably already decided based on his hand strength if hes gonna call/push or fold to a raise. Maybe a better line you can take is call the flop then get it in on the turn since then you give him a chance to push it in with his bluffs (ie. AK etc).

4 betting pre? I figured with our history 4 betting would give him reason to worry about his hand if he has somehting that is good. I figured if I call here and cr the flop he will think it looks more like a bluff cr in a blind war situation(on most flops).
I thought 4 betting might sober him up a little more than I want.

I guess it depends on the villain, but whenever I 4 bet a tilting player they usually can't help themselves but get it in. Granted sometimes I have a pretty crazy image when that works.
