Stars $162: A8s facing BB re-steal
I never know what to do in spots like this. Maybe just muck preflop? No read on the villain, I had been playing tight.

Re: Stars $162: A8s facing BB re-steal
Has bb been re-stealing at all, do we have any reads on him. I put him on a range of 77+ AK, AQ, AJ, KQ, and maybe AT. Against this range you have only 35% equity. I would probably fold and wait for a better spot. I am never mucking this on the button with no action infront of me.

789 pre should be fine since we are folding to a shove, as we are here.

Re: Stars $162: A8s facing BB re-steal
Yeh, smaller raise is probably better. I probably straight miniraise, and it may not be obvious what you are up to, or make it 700.
This is actually close to the reraise, as you are getting 1.45-1. If you think he may be restealing with junk, I don't mind a call. OK to call based on read or if you want to gamble. |
