I just read through this. On pain of being mocked I must say that I thought Shortline's ploy was rather ingenious. If I was playing the game I would have cleared him right away.

In fact I think that Shortline gets a bad rap. He tries new tactics and thinks about the game. He has had one or two bouts of supreme wackiness, but I like having him around.
