Red Bull is very expensive. It's normally like $2 for an 8oz can. That's about the same price per ounce as Jim Beam.

And if you've never tried Red Bull, count yourself lucky.

It's $1.35 a can at Costco... I love RedBull, but then I'm an ex-Raver.

Not to be a nit, but at $2 a can, that .25 an ounce. Jim Beam white label is about $30 for for 23 ounces, so that's well over a dollar an ounce...

I've never purchased RB but I did a web search and found it at a couple places online for $2 per 8oz can. I also found plain ol' Beam online for $22.86 for 1.75l (or 35c/oz), and you can apply a 25% off coupon bringing it down to 26c/oz.

I did my homework before I posted that.

I used to really like the Mt. Dew Amp, but I don't think it sold that well, so they went to that weird green bottle of basically Mt. Dew concentrate. I'm really more of a Starbucks fiend now. The Double Shot is even more expensive than Red Bull (most of what you're paying for in Red Bull is advertising--see Formula 1 and Soccer teams.)

I prefer the new Rockstar Juiced with guava. If it didn't cost so much I would drink it all the time.

You've complained about the taste of Red Bull, and use Jim Beam as your counter-example? The only good thing about Jim Beam's taste is that you don't feel it after your taste buds are permanently burned off following the third shot.

Wow - that's a good price... I stand corrected.
