adsense / parked domains
i noticed a ton of registars / hosting companies / idle domains are filled with adsense style ads.
i would like to do this for a few of my sites... they are idle/dead (yet somehow get hits). i logged into my adsense account and went over the terms and noticed... No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages. No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed on any domain parking websites, pop-ups, pop-unders, or in any email. No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant. So, since I cannot do it with google, what ad companies will allow me to place these ads on my sites. Ryan |

Yup, Google has a special setup for parked domains.

Re: adsense / parked domains
For the idle domains you could create a simple redirect script that sends them to a relevant page with your affiliate code, or you could send them to another of your pages that does have Adsense.

Re: adsense / parked domains
I use fabulous.com for my gambling related domain names. You need at least 100 domain names to work with them.
A lot of people are paying huge bucks for domain names just to display ads but you have to be careful because PPC (pay per click) is going to be replaced by CPA (cost per action). Cost Per Action will not cost the advertiser anything unless the user clicking on the ad does a specific action, i.e. entering an email address, downloading software, purchasing an item, etc. |

Re: adsense / parked domains
Do the parked domain names with ads earn enough to justify owning 100s or 1000s of them? I see them all the time with a bunch of ads and no content, when I type in the wrong domain for a site. When you own that many domain names, did you randomly select some of those names or use some sort of generator? If someone has a little experience with this could you let us know how the process works. Thanks.
