Default quick plo8 freeroll question

You are heads up and flop the nuts for high (say an ace high flush) on a board with 2 high cards. You bet and are called. The turn puts another low card on the board, and you still have the nuts for high.

Now the river comes a card (high or low) such that you still have the nuts for high (in our example basically any nonpairing card pretty much). Is it always correct to bet full pot? Assume no reads and that you and villain both have at least a psb left. My view is that either it is a low card, and we want to bet the amount that will maximize the chance he will fold (showing instant profit), or if it's a high card, I figure he has either a decent enough high hand already that he'll call a psb, or just a low draw that missed, in which case he folds no matter what we bet.

Low card and you have no low, then yes I bet the pot(or all-in when playing NL).

High card then use your reads and bet whatever you think maximizes your equity. This question is very read dependant, although you're right that hes obviously not calling anything if he had a naked missed low draw.

I should have clarified, assume I have no low.
