Default Re: Full Tilt took $100 from me

To get back at them that's not a bad idea. I have the email to prove that I didn't.

Hello Louis,

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker regarding the reinstatement of

your account.

In order to recover the total debt owed for the chargeback it will be
necessary to remove these funds from your account. We have gone ahead
and initiated this process, however it can take 48-72 hours for the
chargeback to be settled.

Once these funds have been recovered we will reopen your account and
you
will have a remaining balance of $33.92. After that you are free to
withdraw and deposit as you wish.

We will contact you as soon as this process has been completed.

Thanks once again for your patience and cooperation.

Regards,

Dave B

My reply:

Dave,

Can you help out here. I deposited 100. Ft gave it back to cc. FT charges me another 100, and only leaves me with 33 that I had won. What happened to my $100?

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the quick response in this matter.

It sounds to me that I owe FT $100 and once paid I will have a balance of $33.92. Should I redeposit $200, so that I can start at $133.92, or will that leave me with $233.92?

Thanks,

'Nuff said, eh?

I still think you're an idiot who intentionally did a charge back when you dropped to $33, then tried to pretend he didn't owe anything because "FT paid $100 back to my CC zomg why do i still owe", the money is still owed you legitimately initiated the payment and were delivered services.

And why the [censored] is thread titled "Full Tilt took $100 from me?", you knew all along you did a charge back once you lost a few bucks and were wanting to fk them. If I were them I would've forfeited your $33 winnings from that 100.

Do you work for FULL Tilt? The email clearly says I have had $133.

If I lost and scammed them, why would I try getting back on their site?

You stated in another thread that you were not happy with FT, why the sudden change of heart? Anyway, I am going to have to dispute it, AGAIN.

Is there a fee of $100 for a (false) chargeback? Then this makes sense.

One more time...charge $100 --> Disputed --> FT gives back.
Just like nothing happened.
Sent a few emails to FT after account was locked. FT re-settles w/ CC for the initial $100.
FT re-opens account with $33 (which I had won).
Where the heck is my initial $100, that was charged. They kept it. Why? I haven't got an answer yet.

It's in their terms and conditions. Once you initiated the charge back, Full Tilt contacted your CC company and settled it. The CC company then released the hold on your funds and rightfully reimbursed FT, since you did actually make the purchase. At this point, the funds are no longer yours. They are Full Tilts, so be thankful they left you with your winnings off the illegitimate 100.

In hindsight, what we've learned here is to not intentionally or UNINTENTIONALLY initiate a charge back for a deposit you've made and EXPECT TO KEEP THE DEPOSIT.

And, since your story changes every single time, if you re-upped for $100 and your CC FAILED to reimburse FT for the initial $100, THEY ARE COMPLETELY IN THE RIGHT FOR SEIZING IT.

I think you've misunderstood OP, which I can certainly understand, since I'm still not 100% I've got it right. Here's what I understand:

OP deposits $100 on FT via CC.
OP runs his $100 up to $133.
OP receives CC bill, doesn't recognize FT charge (!?), disuptes it.
CC company credits $100 back to his CC account, FT removes the $100 from his account, leaving $33.
OP deposits $100 via CC again, but OP still has only $33 in account.
OP is out $100.

Do I have that right, OP?

It's certainly confusing to follow since each time he rewrites the chain of events one detail or another is inconsistent. However, assuming your order is correct, Full Tilt is certainly in the clear for seizing the new $100 deposit if the CC company wouldn't budge in restoring the initial $100.
