Default Playing on AP w/o RB - Is it worth it?

I currently have an AP account (I've had it for years but it has been mostly inactive) without rakeback. I know I am unable to get rakeback on there now, so I pose this question: If all I'm playing for is the bonus (and I play 50NL), is it even worth playing there?

My alternative is playing Stars, where I currently give about 95% of my play. I know I could probably calculate my win rate at each and weigh the pros vs. the cons, but my sample size at AP is far too small. I'm sure someone here has made this decision, so I'm interested in hearing what they ultimately concluded.

Thanks!

You can always sign up for Vegas Poker 24/7 (if your Absolute account has been open for more than 90 days). They are on the same network as Absolute Poker (meaning you will be able to play on the same tables and against the same players as on Absolute Poker). I would highly recommend this as an option to you, before completely giving up on rakeback at Absolute.

Had no idea that even existed, thanks. Are they as "reputable" as AP? Do they offer similar reload bonuses? If not, is RB worth more than the reloads I would get from AP? Obviously if AP's reload bonuses were worth more than RB at Vegas Poker 24/7, it would still make sense to play at AP. I know it depends on how much rake I generate, but assume I wouldn't play enough to exhaust the reload bonuses (i.e. they offer them more frequently than I can clear them).

Thanks, I appreciate the responses.

I Have done the same thing: I switched to VegasPoker247 to get rakeback.

The Bonuses are basically similiar to each other. They do not allow all the cash in / cash out methods that AP allows, although they are shown on their website.

The software is the same just different coulours (though you can change the Skin to Ap )

Go for it

Vegas doesnt have any of the BBJ tables shown right now so you do have a more limited table selection at higher levels.

The bbj rake is a pretty -ev deal tho so it might not matter to some people
