The determining factor here would be how much you've had to eat. Also, I'm pretty sure that even hardcore alcoholics can't just do this without dying. If you drink this much this fast, and keep it down, you're going to die. edit: assuming we're not talking about 350lb+ people here.

I'd say on an normal stomach normal man, maybe 2 hours till death. I don't think I know a lot of people who could actually keep this down though.

My immediate thought was: if you drink this and you keep it down, you're going to die. So I found some calculators:

1.75 liters = ~59 ounces. Let's call it what, 80 proof? According to this calculator , that's going to give a 200 lb guy a BAC of .88. That's without including the drinks you've already had.

According to Wiki, you're in easy death range. But how long will it take for you to actually expire? I couldn't find a quick answer, but I'm going to hazard 3-4 hours, because that sounds right.

Okay, here's a story from my freshman year of college that may be somewhat relevant. I didn't witness this, but several close friends of mine did.

A group of freshman guys were hanging out drinking beer on a Friday night and there was a handle of rum lying around too. The hero of this story (5'10", 170ish) had about 3 beers when he decided it would be cool to impress everyone with his high tolerance. He proceeded to fill one of those red Solo cups completely full with rum (probably about 8-9 shots worth) and chug it in one gulp. About 5 minutes later he filled another cup with rum and, before anyone knew what was going on, he chugged that one too. It didn't take long for the people he was hanging out with to realize that this guy was going to need medical attention, so they called campus security to take him to the health center. They showed up about 10-15 minutes after he had chugged the second cup, and he was already really [censored] up. They decided to call and ambulance to take him to the hospital, and he slipped into a coma just before he got to the hospital, which was probably about 45 minutes to an hour after drinking the second cup. He ended up being okay, but it was a pretty scary story.

So 3 beers + 16-18 shots --> coma in ~ 45-60 minutes

I don't know the correct answer to OP's question, but you should not do this, I don't care how fat or how much of an alcoholic you are.

If you could drink it over time you might be able to do this but to have all that alcohol at once I would think it would kill you if you weren't taken to a hospital to have stomach pumped.

couple hours i'd guess.

theoretically a huge dude could do it, but fat doesn't add to your tolerance. I'm guessing that there is no one alive right now who can do this and survive without medical help. there could be a handful of people, but they would be very close to dying regardless.

hell i'd prob need to go to the hospital after chugging a fifth and i weigh 190.
