I'll play along. Sounds interesting.

Edit: Oops, forgot I'll be away from my computer until Monday nighr. Would love to play after that but if you guys want to start before then, you'll have to go without me.

I have some thoughts as to what to do to fix this up for you Boz as you make good points. Play alongs are fine but I don't think they accomplish the same thing.

Trying to brainstorm here to tighten up the process a bit and fix some issues you raised so bear with me.

The best improvement you've made, imo, is the forced-play, and I think with 5 tables at once that should be reasonable. Just be prepared for a player's reasoning for playing Q7o being that those were the best cards he had in the round (I've been card-dead sine June, I think).

It would be interesting to give everyone the same hand, too.. muahaha.

I don't think 1 orbit is worthy of any type of bragging rights, tho.

The point of the exercise is learning what thinking processes we should be going through as we play our hands.

So many of us play multitable and go on autopilot, but poker is a lot more to it than that. I want to use this as a tool to get inside the minds of the players and help coordinate our thought processes.

This is exactly why i'm interested in playing. I should be able to respond well within 24 hours. Just keep in mind that i'm 6 hours ahead of East Coast and 8 ahead of West Coast. If selected to play of course.

i believe you should set up maybe 2 different groups of 10 and send each group the same exact hand and see how it plays out differently. if it plays out exactly the same, it would be weird.
