Default 22 FO: Nut FD on Monochrome

22 F0, like 30 shy of the money bubble I think.
Literally my first hand at the table.

Big Blind is t600 (9 handed)

FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
4 folds, Hero raises to t1600, 3 folds, BB calls t1000.

Flop: (t3000) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets t1950, Hero calls t1950.

fwiw, I was thinking check behind when I saw the flop.

Turn: (t6900) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets t3625, Hero calls t3625.

I think his bet is kind of weak given the board texture, and I don't think it's a bad call even if my implied payoff on a heart river is very marginally given that I picked up a gutshot and I think an Ace is sometimes enough to (obv I wouldn't count either as full outs given that I'm afraid of AJ/QJ/TJ type hands, but still).

River: (t14150) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t14531 (All-In)

I think this is standard given that he's sitting there thinking I've missed my flush at this point like 100% of the time -- anyone bet less?

I don't know about the flop call, I mean you do have the nut flush draw but you are only getting 2.5-1 on your money, and it is pretty much a given that if a non heart comes on fourth street you are going to be facing a bet. And if a heart does come he is probably check folding, I do not think your implied odds constitute a call on either the flop or the turn. Not to many hands justify his play on fourth street, if I were to guess he probably had something like KQ with the K of hearts, a set, or a pair and a flush draw, and you are drawing to too few outs on the river to make a winner. As played, however, the all in shove looks like a bluff, however, your opponent might not want to risk his whole stack to find out especially if he has something mediocre. However, if you bet a smaller amount your are commiting his stack anyway. Some people don't understand this concept, however, and if you don't think he does, and you think he might just call a 2000 chip bet then I would go for it. However, I think your all in move is the best move.

[15:47] gobboboyplus: raise the [censored] out of that flop.
[15:48] kneeco g: hmmm, do I really have fold equity on those board? I always get paid off by Jc2c when I flop a flush in that spot
[15:48] gobboboyplus: you should raise Ah7c so you do get paid off by those hands. =P
[15:49] kneeco g: yea, but that's more a metagame type thing which I don't thing is needed in this SSMTT. If I raise 8h7h everytime there cause I know he's paying off, seems counter intuitive to raise Ah7c
[15:49] gobboboyplus: Ah7c is a favorite over most hands
[15:49] gobboboyplus: and calling turns your hand faceup
[15:50] gobboboyplus: and you still have fold equity
[15:50] kneeco g: true and if he had like 3-4k behind its an obv push

You don't need a whole lots of fold equity to RR here and commit yourself + 99 and JJ most probably RR pf (JJ almost always). RR here is where it's at.
