Default Live to Online Limit

where would you rank your Live 20-40 game in comparison to online. What about 8-16.

Are you talking about limit or no limit? 8/16 limit is probably about like 1/2 online. Seriously. Those bastards are awful. 10/20 has plenty of good aggressive players. Maybe it's more like 3/6 or 5/10 online. The lowest limit in the casino, no matter what the stakes, always has the most outright inexperienced fish. The highest limi, no matter what the stakes, usually has plenty players with a lot of gamble in them.

It's the psychology of the thing. Someone who's never played poker is going to sit at the lowest level. They probably won't even think their lack of experience is a problem. The people who want to gamble it up are going to want to make it interesting and will play higher stakes.

I've played 3/6 through 10/20 live, and watched plenty of 15/30 and none of it is great poker.

it varies.

rule of thumb is to divide by 10.

ie: 20/40 live = 2/4 online.

Heh I meant 20/40 has plenty of good aggressive players, not 10/20.
