Now you're just mangling words. Something can be an impediment to reproductive success and yet still get carried along because it's a random mutation that piggybacked on some chromosome or is some combination of recessive alleles. My very basic point is that just because we have something, doesn't mean it was any way "fit", unless you define "fit" to mean any trait that we have.

The implication by SilentA is that homosexuality must have someone contributed to the fitness of the organism to be present, which is silly.

[ QUOTE ]
Try forgetting about the direct consequences of homosexual sex itself, and try thinking about indirect effects of homosexuality and/or aspects that are very fit that could indirectly lead to some people becoming homosexuals.

You mean piggy-backing can be a very fit strategy?

Maybe a good reason why people interested in survival of the fittest should consider interesting traits like homosexuality rather than dog fighting.

Putting on and charging admission for those over 21 to watch dogfights or offering live homosexual sex shows between consenting adults?

[/ QUOTE ]

1) Are the homosex shows free? (If not, is the charge the same as the dogfight show?)
2) Are spectators required (or allowed) to participate?
3) Male or female homsexuals?
4) Are they hot?

If David doesn't poast wtf he is talking about this has to be one of the dumbest threads I have ever read.

[/ QUOTE ]

Why do you need a follow up? This is the most obvious trick question David has come up with to date. He didn't even try to be sneaky. It's embarassing that a few fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

This is a trick question. If I say dogfights, I enjoy homosexual sex shows. If I say homosexual sex shows, I enjoy animal cruelty.

Better question: You go weekend camping with one friend. Wake up the next morning bent over a log, pants around your ankles, blood oozing out of your [censored], would you tell anyone?

[/ QUOTE ]

No, I would not tell anyone.

And to answer your next question: No, I do not want to go camping with you.

As for the O.P. obviously the gay sex is worse. How is this even a question? Dog fights are awesome.

[/ QUOTE ]

And earlier someone took the other side and also said "how is this even a question". That's when I know I am doing my job.

[/ QUOTE ]

lol. Yes, because stating two controversial events and watching human bias force people to think one is much worse, for no articulated reason, is such a difficult thing to do. You've asked much better questions than this.
