The only input I have is that I'd reraise preflop to at least 10$. Once you reraise you're commited unless you hit the ugliest flop ever.

I just feel totally lost. I've had to drop to 10NL cuz my banroll took a MASSIVE hit today.

Shoving preflop would be OK. Alternative is $11 preflop, close eyes, shove regardless. As played, preflop is probably too small, but once flop comes, getting it in is good. Did you get double-scurved by AdTd?

I think you played that fine. The flop bet is a no brainer and once he re-raises you are commited to calling. That pre-flop raise looks plenty enough to me, thanks to that he has no implied odds to hit a set and 99%+ of the time it will make him fold any complete rubbish.

Firestorm, villain showed down QQ, though the Ace on the turn made me sick anyway. Not sure shoving pf woulda gotten him out, but I really want him in there with QQ (unless, of course, there's a Q on the flop, turn, or river lol)

Usually when the pre-flop betting gets as big as in this particular hand, you're most likely up against QQ+ (unless you're facing a donkey). So, when the flop comes Q-high, isn't the best thing that could happen a split with the other 2 KK? I really can't see anything we beat when it goes AI on this flop after the pre-flop action.

To prevent these kind of sticky situations I either shove and feel happy about it, or call and try to find out if my hand is best after the flop (because I'm not committed then). Same goes for AA: If you 4-bet half your stack and the flop comes K-high, what are you gonna do? Shove anyway I assume. So why not shove it pre-flop while you're certain to be ahead?

Does that make any sence?

I dont think shoving preflop is good because QQ and lower wont call, maybe AK too.

On the flop I think i'd push all in. I dont think i'd agree with flups - that you're always up against QQ+, I think TT+ and AQ+ would call a 3bet also. If an ace came on the flop i'm not sure what would be good, the pot and your stack are about equal. I'd probably push AI again and hope he isn't holding an ace, but I'm really not sure if that's good or not.

Shoving flop is obviously better. I admittedly have a habit (maybe it's a leak?) from tournament play (where I started) where I try to get the chips in the middle in stages (using bet sizes that are relative to the stack sizes and not the pot size.) In retrospect, this is probably a terrible idea given that I might give odds when I don't want to and I lose value if villain decides to leave himself a 2 dollar stack (which he'll reload anyway).

Waffles, I agree with you about wanting to keep QQ, JJ, and AK in the hand here preflop. Villain called a 4bet preflop, but didn't shove, so I have him on QQ+ and AK. On the flop, I'm a bit behind that range, but I'm certainly not c/f'ing flop given the SPR.
