Default Any Vegetarians here?

What do you eat? Since I stopped eating meat I've been having baby carrots and cereal for dinner every night.

Is there anything decent at markets or chain restaurants?

As long as you aren't actually vegan you can get vegetarian dishes at any chain restaurant. Look for like a hippie sandwich shop/cafe (every town has one), as they are likely to have great stuff. I'm not a vegetarian by any stretch, but there's a cafe nearby that serves pesto & portabello mushroom sandwiches, great salads with fresh stuff, etc. Baby carrots and cereal is just lazy.

i eat alot of veggie burgers (because they are easy). I also buy those green giant frozen vegetable things and try to eat one of those a day. They have broccolli in chese and other kinds as well, if you have them with salsa they are pretty decent. I also eat pasta with veggie meatballs. Sometimes I make black bean tacos which are actually pretty good. Black beans, some rotell and cilantro if you have it. Serve with corn tortillas.

Ohh yeah those frozen microwaveable green giant broccoli in cheese things are awesome actually, except that they give you the nastiest farts imaginable. They taste wicked good though.

You should probably just sack up and eat meat though.

Anyone had the veggie burgers at burger king? I was kind of disgusted with BK even when I did eat hamburgers, so I'm hesitant to go back.

edit: is quiznos a hippy shop?

The veggie burgers at BK are fine, but it's not really what you're looking to eat. Subway or Jimmy John's would be a better choice than quiznos. Why did you become a vegetarian? mbillie is spot on, though. I've been a vegetarian for about 4ish years, and I can almost always find something to eat at any restaurant.

To be honest, I can't seem to justify eating humans, so why should I discriminate against less intelligent animals and eat them?

Plus whenever I used to eat chicken wings or something I would be pretty excited about it only to feel sick afterwards.

What do you get at subway?
