just watching tonights episode and jennifer was saying the first time she ever played PLO8 was 1k/2k, but nobody else had ever played it either so it worked out. did i hear that right? thats a huge freaking game. anyone know when they would have played this?

Probably a long time ago. I thought 4k/8k was her normal game.

Yeah, I was confused by this too. I guess I could believe that she played a 1000/2000 PLO8 game, but the "nobody knew how to play" was weird.

Well, they do put a cap on the games. I believe its a 60k cap per hand for the 1k/2k level. Not 100% on that though.

no they were specifically talking about plo8, so unless she just made a mental era and confused the 2 games she claims to have played 1k/2plo8

How big is the "Farha game"?

I talked to Thomas Wahlroos once about the biggest plo game he had ever played in and he said "the Farha game" and I think, IF I remember correctly that he said it was 1k 2k, which obviously is sick.

When those guys play plo and plo8 it is always (or almost always) with a cap usually 100k.

2k/4k O/8 and 1k/2k PLO with 100k cap is what it was during the WPT 5-Diamond, so 1k/2k PLO8 with 100k cap is feasible.
