Seriously which one of you big swinging dicks have ever bluffed in this spot? I'm certainly not good enough to do this here.

Results??

Pretty much my thoughts on the river were "wow he has an 8, I hope he has a big enough kicker to call me!"

FWIW I don't think I've ever bluffed in this spot without being on massive tilt. Either way, I'm a nit and suck heads-up so if you see me sitting you should play me because I blow.

I was going to say he can very easily slow play a set on that flop, there are only a couple of draws that can beat him.

And nobody ever 3bet shoves this river without a boat at these levels.

It's pretty much the only way to go, surely, it's so dry that we must have QQ+ for villain to get value out of us, and he's in position. If you ever float here with nothing you have to be balancing that with flatting the nuts from time to time. This looks like the perfect board to flat it.

This pretty much sums up it up. I am definitely on the floatier side in 6m, and I think only become more floaty HU. Also, I don't expect him to call with a lot of stuff if I raise, and that's a disaster because I have basically his entire range crushed.

I mean, what hands are calling a raise or reraising? Lower sets (which will get it in on a later street anyway), overpairs (unlikely because he didn't 3bet pf), top pair (only one jack left in the deck), the straight draw on the flop, and maybe middle pair. Keeping in mind that I haven't raised a whole lot of flops, he's probably more likely to give up with middle pair out of position.
