Default early AK hand...prudent or too passive?

2nd hand of Stars $12 180...I usually cbet but I think people in these call c bets very light and didnt see a reason to commit too many chips at this stage? Correct thinking? I also toyed with pushing 1500 into a $60 pot to see if I would get a suspicious call...any merit in that either?

I suspect that you made a winning play but not sure that I would have been that passive. You now have no way of knowing if the bet is "Oh AK huh?" or a real hand unless you have notes and you don't. I bet another 100 and see a free river if I get called, miss the turn and am checked to.

After the flop a 100 bet gets you some fold equity and a shot at improving later. I agree with your Cheburashka 2nd barrel comments about checking the turn and think this is a good time for a cbet and chk.

wizard...problem is he turbo format...you can't stab fold and give up chips in these spots...if I c bet and get raised all in I will have to consider calling with my AK high...I've played so many of these and the only way to get deep is by buidling a stack...on the turn I actualy picked up outs but it was either push or fold...may have been bluffed of the bst hand but I also am comfortable outplaying 90+% of these fields and can find a better spot
