Because OSU's loss was to a team that is probably going to a BCS bowl. What is Stanford's bowl outlook this year?

[/ QUOTE ] Well, aside from your obvious bias toward your team (mine is going to a bowl at least...), fine. Let's take Oregon out of the picture. USC lost to Stanford on a last second prayer. Statistically, USC outplayed the hell out of Stanford, but Booty kept giving the ball up at bad times. The only stat Stanford beat USC in was, obviously, the only one that matters, the score. OSU has the benefit of playing in the Big Ten, and you can't honestly argue that Michigan and Illinois compare to the way Arizona State and Oregon played most of this year.
