Default On the bubble play

I hope this is the right place to post this. I am a tourney newbie as I play mainly cash. I have heard one or two things about tournament play though and that is what I base my play on at the moment.
Blinds are 600/1200 with 120 ante my stack is 14k and villain covers with 33k. There are 84 players left and the 81st place is paid.
Co makes it 4k in the CO, I have 33 in the BB. What is my play?

Clearly, calling here is wrong, regardless of whether it's a tournament or a cash game.

How's your image? Villain's image?

What's your motivation, make the money, or win?

If your objective is to make the money, always fold.

If your objective is to win, you have a decision to make.

Assuming a 9 player table, if you push, there's 20880 in the pot, and it will be 10k for villain to call (2:1). He isn't going to be making a mistake by calling unless he's really out of line (holding something like 3x).

Without reads, I fold here. If I'm reasonably sure I can get a fold, I push.

I would probably fold this. He's not folding no matter what you do. You're getting into an area where you want to be the first into the pot, and with a better hand.

Fold.

My image is TAG and so is vllains. My motivation is to win the tourney. I think villains range can be fairly wide in this spot given the bubble and his position, but I am not quite sure. I'd say something like 22+, Ax+, Axs+, JTo+, t8s+.
And yes calling obviously isn't an option.

FWIW, all the stack sizes and restealing frequencies of the guys between you are important. I'm almost always folding here but my shoving range depends on that info. If he has a very aggressive big stack on the button or in SB, then his range is going to be narrower, for example.

Yea, I can see why that info is of importance. Unluckily I don't have too much info on the players inbetween. I know that villain covered everyone between himself and myself by a fair amount (I think by 2x). The sb was below 10bb. And btn had an average stack of 18kish.
They seemed to be playing fairly solid. Thats all i can recall.
