i don't like your pf play at all in this hand. it just kinda makes the whole hand awkward imo.

my thought process:

re-raising > folding > calling

it's close though between re-raising and folding

I think calling is by far the worst option because of the reverse implied odds that this hand carries. Sometimes I make top pair with a decent kicker but it will rarely get paid (big) from a second best hand and it will more likely BE the second best hand paying off a better one.

When somebody is raising the button very often (~50% of the time) then you need to start playing back at them and re-raising more from the blinds rather than just calling pre-flop because by re-raising them often you will slow them down and they may steal less from the button in fear of a giant three bet.

Spewing again grim. This one is pretty bad. Check fold the turn here, theres nothing you can beat here unless you think kts is calling the pfrr and calling allin on the turn.

So you reraise oop with a hand with reverse implied odds instead, effectively multipliing your reverse implied odds even further? Also you said

I dont think KJ has reverse implied odds vs a player of this description at all. You will have them dominated probably at least 2x as often as they have you dominated. However, they cant call a reraise with hands that you have dominated, so you might as well be making this move with 32o cuz the only way you will win a big pot is if you hit 2 pair or bluff them off a better hand.

KJo is one of the last hands I want to 3-bet from the SB with, even if he is opening a lot. and if you really want to 3-bet, i'd make it bigger.

you would need to have a whole lot of history with this villain for this to be even a decent turn push, and even then its probably still spewing.

Grim I'm going to answre like nearly all your hand posts in one sentence:

Top pair does not equal the nuts in every hand.

i was thinking that he doesn't have top pair with a better kicker because he would have moved in on this drawy flop with it

i also doubt he is calling a largish cbet with a flush draw here and that he would rather move in with it.

I think he has a mid strength hand like a midpair type hand (89, 99, TT, JJ, QQ) that he may call with

i don't think what you said above can all be true at the same time. if you've been extremely aggressive, to the point that he might call the turn push with a pair lower than kings, then he could easily be trapping with AA/AK because he thinks you'll keep betting with less than a king.

also, villain could just be calling with a flush draw thinking you have a big hand and he has no FE, but he does have implied odds.

Grim: Huh? Your reasoning is just never sound. Why would he ever raise the flop with AK or AA. Or even a set. Sure theres a flush draw out there, but you almost NEVER have 2 clubs or JT in your hand.

Your preflop reraise is too small.
